I'm just about to buy the StopTech BBK (282mm).
As far as I can tell, this is currently the best kit you can get here in Europe – especially because the brake balance isn't completely lost thanks to the piston sizes.
Unfortunately, StopTech has now gone bankrupt. I'm really worried about what will happen when I need spare parts, for example, new O-rings or seals for the calipers .
What do you think? Would you still take the risk right now, or is it a bad idea given the uncertain supply of spare parts?
Has anyone had experience with whether it's possible to obtain wear parts from third-party suppliers (or directly from PLC, for example) on a long-term basis?
