I installed the Honda S2000 antenna. The length is perfect, but the diameter is a little smaller.The end of the original antenna seems solidly sealed.
Please, could you explain the steps to shorten it properly ?

Einige Teile sehen sehr geil aus (Schalthebelsack, Mittelarmlehne, Handbrems-Sack) ... andere sehen "eingebaut" eher aus wie von einem grobmotorischen Sattler-Lehrling verarbeitet. Die Bezüge für Türverkleidungen und das Armaturenbrett gefallen mir z.B. gar nicht.
Vorteil: Günstige Preise - für Schalter, Handbremse und Armlehne wären bei meinen Wünschen insgesamt gerade mal 150 Dollar fällig. Die Auswahl bei Designs, Farben und Material ist zudem sehr groß.
Nachteil: Das sind mehr oder weniger do-it-yourself-Teile - daher wohl auch so günstig. Die schicken nur die neuen Lederteile (plus evtl neue Polsterung o.Ä.) raus - keine einbaufertigen Komponenten.
Die Anleitung zum Neubeziehen der Mittelarmlehne etwa sieht recht zeitaufwändig und nicht gerade unkompliziert aus. Den Austausch der Schalthebel- und Handbremsmanschetten würde ich mir allerdings zutrauen ...
Ich habe unten mal ein Beispielbild angehängt. Der rote Keder wäre jetzt nicht meins - muss man aber auch nicht nehmen. Die normale Ausführung ist optisch praktisch identisch mit den roten Original-Nähten.
