Remus Sportauspuff

Hi guys,

Sorry for writing in english but my german is still too bad.
I would like to buy this exhaust (ESD and VSD) but use other exhaust tips (akrapovic style tips).
Please, anyone could give the inlet dimensions of the required tips?
I'm doubting about 60mm or 63mm for the inlet diameter of the tips.

Hi Daikoku, you need a 60mm inlet.

Na dann Euch viel Spaß bei euren mini Mx Remus treffen. Bei 9 km Entfernung wird die Anreise sehr kurzweilig sein

So the outlet of the ESD is 60mm and the inlet of the tips should also be 60mm, isn't it? I just worried about this. Don't you need that the inlet tip to be a slightl wider than outlet ESD in order one involve the other?

Hi Daikoku, you need a 60mm inlet.

The outer diameter of the Remus muffler pipe is 60mm. So if you buy the exhaust tips with 60mm inlet it definitely will fit.
I do have a Remus muffler with Akrapovic style tips on our 124 Spider and it fits perfectly. Pipe diameters are the same at both mufflers.

Hallo zusammen,
weiß zufällig jemand, welcher Kat von HJS zu der Remus passt (Kat back) und ob die Abgaswerte dann noch passen?
Die Frage ist ja dann auch noch , ob die Garantie dann noch greifen würde. Theoretisch ja, weil die Lamdasonde vor dem letzten Kat sitzt oder?

Den Kat ist ziemlich egal was du hinten für nen Pott dran hängst. Nicht egal für Mazda ist, wenn du den KAT gegen einen mit mehr "Durchfluss" tauschst = Garantieverlust

Auch gibt es sehr oft Probleme nach einem KAT-Wechsel mit dem Steuergerät und Lambdawerten.
SPS sollte hier wohl dein Ansprechpartner sein.
Die Abgasanlage sollt inkl. Software aufeinander abgestimmt sein damit es was bringt. Mit Garantie is dann natürlich Essig.
