Amazon Päckchen ist heute angekommen, dadrin auch die Hella 3te Bremsleuchte (E4 Prüfzeichen drauf).

So, wie @MYTHOSmovado, hab ich auch den ganzen Tag vom MX-5 profitiert.
So langsam spürt man den Frühling.

Endlich nach viele Jahre MX5 Abstinenz, wieder in der noch-Wintersonne offen unterwegs durch unser Ösling fahren !

Hatte wegen der Tankanzeige folgenden Thread aufgemacht :
Digitale Tankuhr-Reservleuchte-Rest-Km-usw.....

@lars7249, hatte ja 3x 500er - (1.2, TwinAir, Abarth 135PS , zusammen waren das +- 210000km).
Die Rest-km-anzeige beim Fiat ist nicht ganz genau, besonders wenn man den gleichen Tank mal sportlich, mal sparsam fährt.
Was aber bei allen 500er der Fall war, wenn die letzte Tankdiode erlöscht , hat man für max. 30km noch drin.
(Hatte den Abarth sogar 100m vor einer Tanke leergefahren, da ging es leicht bergauf)

Beim ND , ist es so, wenn der LED Zeiger auf 0 rüberspringt sind noch min.60km drin.
(Auch wenn die Restanzeige 0km anzeigt, sind noch +- 6l im Tank)

Frage : Muss das Fahrwerk nach der Montage nicht eingestellt werden ?
(Nicht hauen, hab sowas noch nie an einem Wagen montiert...)

Ich muss die Heckträger-Füsse noch komplett neu abmachen & mit Plastidip anstreichen,
(diese sehen schon arg mitgenommen aus nach 14 Jahren )
wollte den Kofferaum auch nicht so schliessen,
weil ich den noch mit der Tesa Folie schonen will.
Müsste aber ok sein.
Spaltmass ist beim ND aber geringer als beim NA , daher muss ich das alles noch testen.

So , betreffend meinem Projekt Heckträger NA >> am ND montieren,
hab ich mal bei AMAZON.DE folgende Hella 3te Bremsleuchte bestellt.

Ich werde den Träger auch um 180° umgedreht montiert ,
damit die 3te Bremsleuchte nicht von meinem Alu-Koffer überdeckt sein wird.

So Visa Karte wurde endlich heute morgen aufgeladen.
Der Auspuff ist erstmals seit gestern von Good-Win Racing USA >> Racing Beat UK unterwegs,
und dann geht der Weg weiter >> Luxembourg
Freu mich schon auf die neue Spielsache.
In € ergibt das +-700€.

Ja, das ist sicher, er hat aber den Vorteil, dass er im unteren Tourenbereich ruhig ist.
Einfach so , bekommt man in L auch nicht den Auspuff kontrolliert, in D kommt das aber öfter vor.
Wenn ich aber an meinem originalen Topf am Abarth 500er denke (nicht der Monza Record) , der war zugelassen, aber alles andere als ruhig....

So morgen werden die ersten (illegalen) Tuningmaßnahmen bestellt.
Der von Goodwin Racing (USA) entwickelte RoadsterSport RACE wird es sein. http://www.good-win-racing.com/
(hatte in meinen NA's auch immer US Anlagen drin, der letzte hatte überhaupt nix mehr drin, 4in1 Krümer , leeren Katersatz Rohr & minimaler Endtopfen (alles Edelstahl))

Beim ND wird es aber nur den Endtopf sein, Vorteil bei Mazda , der Auspuff ist angeflanscht, einfach bisschen WD40 auf den Haltegummi's sprühen , 2 Schrauben lösen & schon ist der Auspuff abmontiert.
Beim ND brauch man den Wagen mal nicht aufzuheben.

Call it Dual Personality, Call it Jekyll and Hyde, this is the Rebel in our exhaust lineup and the sound level result depends on what you are doing with the gas pedal and the gear selection.
Slam the gas to the floor and run for redline and you get a wonderfully throaty throbbing exotic racing rumble with lots of burble that sounds BETTER than an MX5 Cup Car.
BUT when you close throttle you do NOT get the drone and cabin resonance of those pure race cars, instead it gets mild on decel, downright quiet when just cruising in top gear on the freeway.
What we have here is the first Miata Race muffler sane folks can really live with every day without pissing off the wife or the neighbors (unless they WANT to).
Continuing with the dual personality, with the top DOWN it makes lots of fun sound as you work the gears,
yet with the top up and cruising just a mild purr on mild acceleration and no drone when you close the throttle or engine brake or run light throttle up hill.
The secret to getting all this fun without the pain of drone on decel is the exclusive Helmholtz chamber included in this design.
In fact, this design is ALL Helmholtz and no traditional sound absorbing materials unless you get the optional race baffle.
How did we do it? We outfitted our 2016 with a computer and sound spectrum analyzer and microphones and drove it under varying conditions and loads with and without muffler.
We then use that data and some special software to calculate the particulars of the Helmholtz chamber to precisely knock down the frequencies we do not want to hear in the car
while allowing the good throaty burble fun sounds to pass through. In brief, FUN when you want it, and mild when just cruising.
All this in an 11 pound design, which is about half the weight of the 20.5 pound factory muffler. Includes a straight through high flow design from the midpipe out the polished pipe tip for max power.
