i-activsense (Verkehrszeichen Endekennung & City Notbremse Assistent) nachrüsten / Codieren

    Hi,


    leider war kein MX5 in meiner Wunsch Konfiguration sofort lieferbar, brauchten das Auto aber zeitnah. Daher war leider kein i-activsense Paket dabei. Rückfahrkamera lässt sich ja bekanntlicher weise nachrüsten.
    Weiß jemand ob man die Verkehrszeichen Endekennung & City Notbremse Assistent nachrüsten/codieren kann. Der Verkäufer sagte zwar es ginge nicht aber ich traue Auto Verkäufern ja so genau 0.
    Hab erst gedacht "ne brauch ja Frontkamera dafür, das geht nicht" aber die ist ja eh verbaut für Matrix LED. Zumindest rein Optisch (in der Ausstellung stand einer mit und ohne) sind die Module in der Frontscheibe identisch. Kann mir also gut vorstellen das das nur ne Frage der Codierung ist.
    Vll. weiß einer mehr oder hat's sogar schon gemacht/ machen lassen....

    Würde mich, in Kombination mit dem neuen Tacho ebenfalls interessieren.
    Fürchte aber, dass das nicht so einfach geht.

    Ärglich ist es besonders, da das Paket genauso teuer ist wie alleine die Kamera nachzurüsten ;(


    Von einem Händler ist auch keine andere Antwort zu erwarten.


    Anscheinend gibt es für Mazda zu wenig Nachfrage, so dass es nicht attraktiv ist für Mazda Knowhow aufzubauen.
    Ich suche auch noch einen Freak, der mir einen 2L-Motor in den Mazda 2 einbaut.

    Es geht alles. Das ist eine reine Preisfrage.
    Solche Händleraussagen interpretiere ich für mich als „(bei uns) nicht wirtschaftlich sinnvoll/möglich“.

    hat denn der 2019 ohne i-act. auch die linke Anzeige in bunt? Wenn nicht, kann er im ist Zustand sowieso keine Verkehrszeichen anzeigen.

    Bei mir wäre es ein RF der hat eh das Bunte Tacho, wie das beim aktuellen Roadstar ist weiß ich gar nicht.


    Das die Händler grundsätzlich an Nachrüstung und nach codieren kein Interesse haben ist mir durchaus klar.
    Hab damals beim Opel auf nen Tempomat für 50€ nachrüsten lassen der Liste deutlich über 200€ kosten sollte... Aber manchmal hat man ja Glück und nen Draht zu nem guten Mechaniker/Techniker der da was weiß.


    Mir geht's ja gar nicht nur um den Komfort der Verkehrszeichen Erkennung aber ein Notbremse Assistent kann halt manchen Unfall deutlich abmindern.


    Werde mal versuchen da beim fMH einen Technisch begabteren Menschen zu erwischen....

    This is an old thread but I would like to know if someone has attempted to do this retrofitting or there is more information available about it.
    Personally, I have been exploring some coding options at the ECU and I have indeed located a string that activates the TSR menu in the MZD. Doing this makes the GPS screen to stop showing the traffic signs on speed limits and presumably could show them in the left screen. However, because my car does not have the color left screen (it is s ST), I do not know if the system indeed works:

    In addition to this, there is an option in the ECU (Instrument cluster module) to configure a "Vision Control" (Block BF01) which is "not configured" currently. It is possible to edit this block and configure a PID, but there are 4 types to choose (VMC type 1 to 4). IN order to do some more exploration on the real options to do this retrofit, I think that it would be needed to know the configurations of these modules in cars with and without the i-activsense, and with and without the color left screen. All that is needed is Forscan and a compatible OBD reader, so if someone is curious about this it would be great to share the advances

    Well, this weekend we have been trying with a friend's 2019 RF. I can confirm that Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) can be activated successfully by editing one byte (B4) in the 706-01-02 chain in the FSC module. The TSR menu appears in the safety settings and the traffic signs appear in the color TFT display in the dash. Both speed signs and pass / no pass etc are shown. Unfortunately this does not work for my ST without the dash TFT. We still have to try the Smart City Brake support....
